Makeup Art and Direction has had the pleasure of having experience from both behind the camera and in front of camera. Working as a model for many years and teaching at one of Perth’s leading Modelling & Casting agencies for many more; has given me the understanding and requirements to achieve the perfect photographic makeup. Editorial, Marketing Headshots or building a modelling/casting portfolio; Makeup Art and Direction has experienced it all.
When I began my career in Perth over 20 years ago, there was no digital cameras. No opportunity to correct any mistakes along the way. One chance to get every single piece of detail correct and only seeing the final results when you saw the small images through a magnifying glass on a roll sheet.
How times have changed with the amazing HD cameras and technology with editing. These cameras capture every minute detail.
Makeup Art and Direction can offer a flawless photographic makeup every time. I am happy to consult with models, photographers and stylist to achieve together the image they are wanting to create. Providing a detailed makeup design and creation that suits the client. I am also happy to provide my experience behind the camera, whether its completing touch ups, holding a reflector board or being in the wings to help.
